Identity theft has been an increasing concern over the past few years. Many people have purchased Identity theft protection from their credit card companies each month. As an alternative, ask your home-owner/renter insurance provider for a quote. I have reduced my cost of identity theft insurance to less than 1/6 of the cost charged by my credit card company.
