What is the best way to invest money? It's simple, but not easy.
The best way to invest money is to invest in yourself. It might sound like a cliche, but it's true.
Doesn't it make sense? If you have no clue what's eroding your wealth, it doesn't matter how much money you earn.
If you are looking to increase your financial intelligence, I ask you to do 3 things:
What has worked it the past doesn't mean that it will work today. The world continuously changes and thus, we should change with it or be left behind.
How you view money can actually be the reason why you are repelling it. If you think all rich people are bad, thieves, and materialistic, then guess what, you don't want to be rich. It's always harder to become something you don't like.
Develop your millionaire mindset. Start thinking like a millionaire. Robert Kiyosaki says that the rich don't do things slightly different. They do the complete opposite.
Chances are, if you are following the crowd, you're following the wrong path. Bob Proctor says that if you see 99 people going one way and you see 1 person going the other, follow that 1 person.
Invest in your personal finance education by studying how money works.
To the rich, it's not all about how much you save. It's not all about how much you earn. A lot of it is about how much you keep.
Focus on cashflow. Transition to the right side of the Cashflow Quadrant. Keep that money flowing. Have your dollars do multiple things instead of just one.
Read books that increase your success. Attend seminars on wealth building. Participate in coaching programs that gear you towards an abundant lifestyle.
Don't just study any information, study the right information. Continue researching resources like this website so you can get on a different path to financial freedom.
Hands down, the best way to invest is to put money towards yourself to learn. You are your biggest asset and consequently, your biggest liability.
As Ben Franklin says:
"Empty the coins of your purse into your mind and your mind will fill your purse with coins."
Invest in yourself first. Keep learning. This is a journey and if you keep learning, you'll learn that the journey is much more meaningful that the destination.
